Active Power, Inc. (NASDAQ: ACPW) announced that an unnamed global search engine has placed a multimillion dollar order for its uninterruptible power supply equipment. The 12-megawatt sale, intended for delivery before the end of the year, will be deployed at one of the customer's newer data centers to protect against power outages.
